Ms. Neha Sharma serves as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal, where she has been an integral part of the faculty since 2014. She holds a B.Sc. LL.B. (Hons.) degree from DAVV, Indore, and completed her LL.M. in Business Law at NLIU, Bhopal. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from NLIU.
Specializing in Contract Law and Competition Law, Ms. Sharma has taught both undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Law of Contract, Competition Law, Business Law, ADR, Legal Writing and Clinical course etc. She has contributed to legal education through active mentoring and curriculum development.
Her academic leadership includes key roles such as Faculty In-charge of ADRC (2019–2023), Placement Coordinator at NLIU, established head of the Pro-Bono Club under the Nyaya Bandhu scheme (Department of Justice, Govt. of India). She is also a member of various ethical and legal committees at the institutional and state levels.
Ms. Sharma has undertaken significant research projects sponsored by the Competition Commission of India and the Government of Madhya Pradesh. Her publications span critical areas such as bid rigging, digital competition law, and third-party insurance frameworks, appearing in UGC Care-listed and peer-reviewed journals.
She has organized multiple seminars, international competitions, and webinars to foster legal scholarship and ADR training, including the NLIU INADR International Mediation Tournament and the Lex Peretia Webinar Series. Additionally, she has supervised postgraduate dissertations in emerging legal domains including online arbitration and cartel regulation.
With a commitment to legal awareness and community engagement, Ms. Sharma continues to shape future legal minds while contributing actively to policy and institutional reform.
