Dr. Singh, in the field of law, occupies a unique space that blends intellectual rigor, ethical responsibility, and social engagement. According Dr. Singh, legal academia is not merely about teaching statutes or case laws but about nurturing critical thought and preparing students to question, interpret, and challenge existing legal frameworks. Dr. Singh is not only passionate about the subject but also driven to create meaningful change. His contributions reflect an emphasis on creativity, inter-disciplinarity, and future‑oriented scholarship, enhancing the university’s reputation in legal education and research.

Before joining NLIU in June 2014, Dr. Singh taught at HNLU, Raipur. He successfully completed the WIPO-conducted “Intellectual Property” course, earning an invitation to a WIPO training program in Washington, DC, in 2020. Additionally, he has research and teaching exposure at Warwick University, UK. He also has two patent publication in 2023.

There are many subjects taught by me in UG, PG and Ph.D. courses like Intellectual Property Law, Intellectual Property in Cyberspace, Public International Law, Private International Law/ Conflict of Laws, Law of Evidence etc. But the core area of interest are Law of Evidence, Research Methodology and IPRs Protection in Cyberspace.
