Dr. Pooja Kiyawat

Dr. Pooja Kiyawat is an accomplished academician specializing in Cyber Law and Information Security, with over nine years of teaching experience. She holds a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) with a specialization in Energy Laws from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, an LL.M. in Cyber Law and Cyber Security from National Law University, Jodhpur, and a Ph.D. from Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal.

Prior to joining the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, in November 2021, Dr. Kiyawat served as a faculty member at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. She has authored two books published by international publishers and has contributed several research papers to reputed national and international journals.

Dr. Kiyawat’s academic interests lie primarily in Cyber Law and Information Security. She is a sought-after resource person and has delivered expert lectures at various national conferences and training programs. She conducts training sessions on Cyber Law and Cyber Security for Naib Tehsildars, officers of the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services and Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management.

She has also completed a Certificate Course on Cyber Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as the Direct Trainer Skills (DTS) and Design of Training (DoT) courses conducted by the Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, at the RCVP Noronha Academy of Administration and Management, Bhopal.
