Dr. Seema Shrivastava is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Economics and Chairperson of the Centre for Law and Economics at the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. With over 15 years of teaching experience across prestigious institutions, she brings expertise in law and economics, public policy, regional development, and gender budgeting. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has a strong research background with multiple publications in UGC CARE-listed and peer-reviewed journals. Her work explores critical intersections between legal frameworks and economic theory, and she is actively involved in academic discourse through conferences, workshops, and training programs. Dr. Shrivastava has been a session chair, panelist, and guest lecturer at several national and international conferences, including those organized by GNLU and IIFM, and has also coordinated certificate courses, seminars, and faculty development programs on contemporary economic and legal issues. Her recent engagements include contributions to discussions on AI regulation, tribal development, and sustainable governance. She is a member of reputed academic bodies such as the Indian Economic Association and the Indian Association of Law and Economics. Dr. Shrivastava continues to contribute to both scholarship and institutional development, fostering interdisciplinary dialogue in academia and policymaking.
