Dr. Mohit Gupta

Mr. Mohit Gupta is serving as Assistant Librarian and In-Charge University Library of National Law Institute University, Bhopal prior to his current assignment he has served as Librarian at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mangaldoi Assam from 2018 to 2022, at R.A.K. College of Agriculture as a Library Science Teacher. He holds B. Sc. (Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Sc.), M.Lib & I.Sc UGC-NET, and pursuing PhD in Library and Information Science. He has received Chancellors’ Medal and Pt. Madan Gopal Tiwari Gold Medal for securing highest marks during the graduating degree of Library and Information Sc. He has professional experience of 06 years.

Mr. Gupta is familiar with various library management systems like SOUL,Koha, e-Granthalaya ,Libsys and Digital Library softwares like e-print, D-Space, GSDL and provided technical support to various libraries and also developed a library app for Bundelkhand University, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Mangaldoi. He is the associate editor of Indian Law Review: an annual Journal, Editor of The Tribal Insight, Founder editor of the Judgement alert magazine which is an unique initiative taken that comprises daily judgment analysis and the mapping of the same to relevant subject.. He is also engaged in teaching subject “Research Methodology” to the L.L.M. students and “ICT in legal research” to PhD Scholars at NLIU. He has organized 01 International conference, 01 Faculty Development Program, delivered invited lectures and conducted technical sessions in various National and international Conferences, Seminar and workshops organized by instate of national and international repute.

Apart from academic achievements he has also performed/ in charged administrative operation such as In-Charge of Library, GeM at NLIU; Time table, GeM, UBI Portal, IT initiative and others at KV Mangaldoi.

He has conferred and received best research paper award for his contribution of an article entitled “Pocket Library and Bundelkhand University” during National Conference on Transforming Libraries in 21^st Century organized by Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow in 2017, and another best reaserch paper and best presentation award for his contribution of an article entitled “Revolutionizing Assistive Technologies in Libraries with Artificial Intelligence (AI)” at the prestigious International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Metaverse in Library and Education 5.0. Organized by Uttaranchal University, Dehradoon on 27-28 September 2024.

He has published more than 25 articles in various journals and conference proceedings of national and International Repute.
