NLIU successfully organised the 6th edition of the NLIU-Singhania and Partners National Client Counselling Competition from 18th to 20th October, 2024. The competition was curated by the Moot Court Association of the University and witnessed participation from all premier law schools across the country. The competition was organised in collaboration with Singhania and Partners LLP, a leading full-service law firm of the country.
The competition also witnessed participation by eminent practitioners and professionals as judges for the preliminary and semi-final rounds. The opening ceremony of the competition was graced by Prof (Dr.) K.V.S Sarma (Vice Chancellor, National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam). The final round of the competition was judged by an illustrious panel consisting of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vivek Agarwal (Judge, High Court of Madhya Pradesh); Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vishal Dhagat (Judge, High Court of Madhya Pradesh); Mr. Ravi Singhania (Managing Partner, Singhania and Partners); Prof (Dr.) Ghayur Alam (Senior Professor, NLIU) and Prof (Dr.) Sanjay Yadav (Dean Post Graduate Studies, NLIU).
The valedictory ceremony of the competition was graced by Hon’ble Mr. Justice J.K Maheshwari (Judge, Supreme Court of India) as the Chief Guest. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Suresh Kumar Kait (Chief Justice, High Court of Madhya Pradesh and Chancellor of NLIU, Bhopal) graced the ceremony as the Guest of Honour. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vivek Agarwal; Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vishal Dhagat and Mr. Ravi Singhania graced the occasion as Special Guests.
The competition was a grand success and the guests and participants commended the quality of the participation, judges and hospitality in Bhopal.
