With a seating capacity of approximately 900 persons, the Justice J.S. Verma Convention Centre is designed to host large-scale national and international events. The spacious hall is equipped with modern acoustics, advanced sound systems, professional lighting arrangements, and high-quality projection facilities. Its architectural design ensures clear visibility and audibility from every seat, making it an ideal venue for conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia, moot court competitions, cultural programs, and the University’s prestigious Convocation ceremonies.

Justice Verma played a pivotal role in conceptualizing and proposing the establishment of a National Law School in Bhopal. His efforts were instrumental in laying the foundation for what eventually became NLIU Bhopal, the second institution established under the National Law School system in India. Although his initial proposal was not immediately implemented, it set the groundwork for the creation of the University. The institution was formally established through Act No. 41 of 1997, later substituted by Act No. 6 of 2018, and commenced its first academic program in 1998 under the inspiration of his vision.
