Abhishek Barud, a student of the LL.M. Batch 2024–25, has brought recognition to NLIU by representing both the university and the state of Madhya Pradesh in several prestigious shooting competitions. He secured 10th rank in the 10m Air Pistol event at the All India Inter University (AIIU) Games and achieved 5th rank in the 50m Firearms event at the state level. He also competed in the elite India Open Shooting Competition and is set to represent NLIU and Madhya Pradesh at the upcoming National Shooting Championships and Khelo India University Games. Alongside his personal achievements, Abhishek actively promotes a strong sports culture on campus, mentoring peers and advocating for student-athlete support. He exemplifies the balance between academic rigor and sporting excellence.
