“Nobody is bothered about an institution more than its alumni” – N. R. Narayana Murthy.
A founder can carry an institution only so far, and then others have to step in, mainly the alumni. That’s how an institution becomes one. Any institutions’ alumni are key to its growth.
Keeping this in mind, The Alumni Affairs Cell aims at strengthening the umbilical bond between the University and its alumni, by working in collaboration with the NLIU Alumni Association. It is a student body that assists in all activities that aim towards the development of a productive and life-long relationship between the University and its Alumni. The cell strives to communicate the interests and concerns of alumni, worldwide, to the University to encourage inclusive growth and commitment to excellence of NLIU
It is our humble endeavour to contribute to the University in its pursuit to realise the goal of being the torch bearer of legal fraternity. To do the same, we biennially organise an Alumni Meet where the students get to interact with the alumni and different Chapters are conducted throughout the year in different parts of the country. We also release a newsletter enumerating the activities undertaken by the various cells and the achievements of the NLIU students in different competitions. The Alumni are also frequently contacted for giving lectures on their areas of specialisation and thus the students are acquainted with the proposed field.
