To make sure that Jack doesn’t work himself into a dull, dull boy, NLIU’s cultural committee, ATHENA, came about in 2002. Named after the Greek goddess of arts, crafts, skill and inspiration, Athena has various societies affiliated with it, namely the drama society, the music society, the dance society and the art society. These societies can be seen in action often, giving the much needed respite to the student fraternity from the fast paced life here at NLIU.

Over the course of a year, Athena indulges in organising various events like PALCHIN, RANGAMCH, OPEN MIC, DANDIYA NIGHT, etc., and and ofcourse, our cultural and literary fest, MPzero4. With every event more banging than the last, the committee is ever ready to paint the town red, and has something creative ALWAYS cooking amongst themselves.

With it’s up-to-date Facebook page, and the quirkiest and most colourful Instagram, Athena plans to keep everyone updated with the its plans for the session, and is all geared up to make it one helluva year!
