NLIU Bhopal was established by a legislation of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in 1997 and is the second National Law School in India. NLIU has grown to its current status by imparting quality education with the objective to contribute to national development by instilling a sense of responsibility among its students, while simultaneously cultivating spirit of intellectual freedom, qualities of leadership, imaginative power and clarity.

and delays which could have hampered the curriculum of this batch. However, irrespective of such challenges we were successful in delivering quality lectures with the help of our esteemed professors. We have in no way let this pandemic affect the quality of teaching and have made sure that our students face no difficulties. Over the past few months, I have seen this Batch prosper and excel irrespective of several hurdles faced by them. The students have shown immense interest and zeal in the online method of teaching and also have contributed to research projects and publications of the university.

NLIU offers LL.M specialization in I. Constitutional and Administrative Law, II. Human Rights and Criminal Law and III. Intellectual property and Business Law. Students from each specialization have diverse interests ranging from corporate law firms, teaching, banks, corporations and companies, to Non- Governmental Organisations. The diverse interests of students are reflected through internships, which helped them garner experience. The University has also taken necessary initiatives towards holistic development of students’ interests by organising webinars, guest lectures, Internship opportunities, etc.

The Batch of 2020-2021 is ready to face upcoming challenges and contribute to the legal fraternity.
